I decided to take a walk to the local airport, its about 2.2 miles from my house one way so its a pretty nice trek up there.... anyways when I got there I was quite fortunate to catch a plane actually landing. Here are a few shots of my walk.

Took this picture with my maximum 8X zoom from about a quarter of a mile away or more (Across that dirt patch and a road)

I couldnt get a picture of it landing, a hanger in the way, its a Cessna 172M (I looked it up)

Putting her up in the hanger, the pilot (guy in bomber jacket) Told me I had to leave, your obviously not aloud inside the fenced in areas...

That camera takes some very good pictures. That windmill is pin sharp.

Thanks for the comment, yea if you can actually get it to focus and see the LCD in the sunlight you can get some good results.

Your mystery plane looks like an early model C172.

I thought so myself that it was a was Cessna of some sort...

Great airplane shots! You're lucky to have such nice weather!

Could be warmer, 3-5 weeks ago there was more than a foot of snow on the ground with temps in the teens (about 10ishF or less)
