Well, this was a rare weekday spotting trip for me and even with the fog it turned out to be a good day.

You're getting to be the master spotter here; keep 'em coming!

That 747 looks terrific in those colors... never seen one at KEWR.
How about those vortices off the ends of the outboard flaps? Nasty...

Great shots 8-)

All the more reason I want to get a job with Kitty Hawk based at FWA.  Since their recent expansion theres now way more then 727s and 737s coming and going.  Using Flight Tracker its been showing several daily 747 flights including Evergreen 741s and 742s from SFO.  Couple other cargo 747s as well.  Also having Arrow DC-8s ;D  FWA finaly wised up and started landing the big boys as well as the rare ones.  Really want a job there now just to get the chance to work around the beasts, plus finaly get the some of the best spotting there is for FWA ;)

But have to wait till I have a decent vehical that can make the daily round trip to Fort Wayne :-/

Whoa! Cool vortex-shots! Man I'd love to see that for real! To bad they only happen in bad weather...

I need to go spotting again... soon...

Thanks, Guys!! :)

Evergreen only comes here once a year during the Christmas rush.  UPS contracts them to help move more.

They fly in to JFK quite often. I hope to head over there someday. :)
