Decided to go manual to try to get some prop discs today... also threw framing to the wind... it worked pretty well on a few shots. Like this Cherokee, starting its takeoff run...

Just before rotation- love the light highlights.

There's sort of a dirt-mound about midfield by the taxiway; climbed up there for a different angle. I like this shot of the Cherokee arriving...

A sweet Bonanza just after brake release...

And a Warrior making its post-lunch departure.

Next (eventually)- more variety!

It's the pictures. It looks like a nice airport with its own restaurant and you can just sit there right near the taxiway and watch planes go by.  :) Plus I love the environment of the northeast with the trees and stuff, so that makes it even better.  :) :)

Yeah, it's just about perfect.
The scenery helps- Florida weather is great for flying, and lots of flat open land for emergency use, but it's all sort of same-ish looking. I'm biased- I was born in the hills near here, and I'll always love the NE USA.

Very nice. From the little I've seen of it it's not unlike my part of the world.
