Sunday spotting- Sky Manor p.1

Postby flyboy 28 » Mon Nov 27, 2006 7:17 pm

After I was at Alexandria, I decided to pop into Sky Manor to get a burger and a soda. I need to apply for a job there. ;D

The Beriev Brothers. The North American distributor of Beriev is based here at Sky Manor. There used to be three of these 103's. Not sure where the other went. Probably inside a hangar.

A sleek-looking Beech sitting in the sun.

A Cherokee that had been doing to-go's all afternoon. I imagine it got harder as the evening went on, with the sun right in his eyes.
Image

A close-up of the white Be-103. It'd be neat to fly in one of these. And yes, I know I've posted pics of both of  them before. ;)

A dirty Warrior. I was tempted to write "Wash me!" with my finger on it. ;D

Next- the last set, with a special visitor resident!

Nice shots James, always nice to see the 103's - ugly as sin on the land, but they look oh so cool in the water.

Cheers,

TSC.

Or maybe they actually sold one... ;D

According to my friend Gus, they weren't exactly going like hotcakes.

Excellent photos, and yes- it is interesting doing circuits with the sun in your eyes, even with sunglasses... especially behind beat-up old rental Plexiglass. ;)
