Winterweather... crystal clear skies...

Postby Omag 2.0 » Sun Nov 19, 2006 9:12 am

You gotta love it... contrail time baby!  ;D

First one of the heavy birds flying over my house...

Second Boeing 777 ( Emirates, dead give-away) coming over...

The same bird, but now the entire contrail...

Image

I love them!

Image

This little bizz jet nearly gets caught by the expanding contrail of the 777

I love clear weather in the autumn and winter!

Cheers,

Omag

If you can catch it like that ... then the london city planes at about 600 ft should be able to pick up people in the windows!
and the stansted traffic about 4000ft .... ok i guess.
and heathrow 6000ft and above... AND IT'S ALL ABOVE MY HOUSE.
I Watch the 747's and 737's and the planes and cessnas and in one case a c-130 over my house.

I'm a little twerp who doesn't like to pay attention to the rules about uploading images to SIMV. I've been told how to upload ..... I've actually managed to u

Kris, how much optical zoom is on your FZ5? It seems like it does a better job than my FZ7. I should downgrade. ::)

My FZ5 has a 12x optical zoom... just like your FZ7... The shots were cropped a bit though... perhaps that makes the difference!  ;)
