The cook returns! (may cause drooling)
Stevie Z. is back in town for the holiday, etc... cooking was bound to break out at any moment; fine by me.
I almost starved to death the first few months after he moved out of the loft... he's always cooking, and it's always good.
He made his pilgrimage to the Polish butcher shop in Harrison to get some fresh chicken sausage, and wanted some nice presunto. He then asked me what he should do with them.
Only obvious solution seemed to be to wrap the sausage in the ham. And roast it with garlic. No-brainer.
A smashing success over angel-hair with fresh peas and a lemon-garlic sauce... and a wisely-chosen bottle of the only vino tinto I can really enjoy- a well-aged bottle of Faustino.
