Sinoe again, it is soooo sleek.  When it did its flybys it looked like it was going supersonic and it was super quiet!

Just a wild guess, but judging from what little I can see in the plaque in the picture, I think the engine is from one of the Nazi jets in WWII.

Not sure if they need one at Old Warden- better ask the British members, because OW is in England...

Interesting point. There's possbly an OX engine in a museum somewhere in the UK & they might even have one at Old Warden. I don't think there are any examples of the Jenny over here. I found references to 105 JN-4 followed by 175 of the later JN-4A being exported to Britain during WWI & of them being used by flying schools in Britain & France during & after the war but I don't know where this would have been. It's certainly the first I've heard of it.
