A few memories

I've been going through all the photos I've taken during the summer & thought I'd post a few of the better ones. A few of my favourite warbirds at some of my favourite places.

The first four were taken at Old Warden, I think on the same day. The one & only airworthy Gloster Gladiator. She looks about due for a new coat of paint.

A smart visitor from Duxford. ARCo Harvard lV in Portuguese Air Force markings. Image

The resident Hawker Hind, again the only airworthy example. The sound of that Kestrel is magic.

Another regular visitor. Peter Teichman in his Spitfire PR XI (PL965).

OFMC P-51D 'Ferocious Frankie' at Biggin Hill back in June.

John Romain showing off Spitfire Mk. XVIII SM845 at Shoreham during the Airbourne event at Eastbourne in August.

RNHF Sea Fury at Biggin Hill. It might not be perfect but this is one of my favourite shots.

What a crafty old so-and-so you are, sneaking these out so late in the year... beautiful shots!
That Hind is magical in every way... thanks. ;D

I've got a soft spot for Jumpin' Jacques.......I think it's the second seat that does it ;)

Excellent shot Doug, great angle and clarity
