Hughes 300C shoot...
My first client! The company I work for, Snohomish Flying Service, hired me as their official photographer. Two weeks ago (when I actually had a day off) I went up in one of their 300C's to a location where they practice maneuvering in confined areas. And man was it beautiful out there! It was just this little clearing along the side of a 1,000 foot hill that overlooks the valley. The flight back was absolutly amazing as the pilot weaved between the little vallelys along the side of the hill at tree-top level.
Three of us crammed into the small helicopter as my boss wanted there to be a second person in there as a stand-in student. I was sitting on the far side with my friend and fellow lineman sitting in the middle. The pilot elbowed my friend and said he needed to scoot closer to me. Then added, "At this point it is more important that I control the aircraft than for you to not feel gay." lol
Anyway, here are some of the pics. And I know, I know, you guys hate the watermark. But they are my pics and I've already had another co-worker try to copy and paste my pictures (and even attempted to remove the watermark!!) against my authority. So, due to one person being irresponsible, you all must pay. haha
Zooming off into the distance to come back around for another approach.

Comin' in to land.

Evidently this one is where the money's at. My client was drooling over this one!

Comin' in right over the trees!

One of the reasons we decided to use this was location was in the hopes of that dirt being very dry and loose, in order to create a huge plume as the heli came in to land. But as you can see... no dust.

Sometime in the next few weekends we will be doing another photo session with the helis but this time will be an air-to-air shoot. I'll be up in a customers helicopter and photograph the schools two ships in flight. I'm really excited for that, but will be scetchy trying to find a break in the weather AND my work schedule!
