Need help Identifying a few aircraft...

Postby BFMF » Sat Oct 21, 2006 4:38 am

I'm not as good as a lot of you are in identifying aircraft, so here's a few photos I took yesterday...

Not sure what aircraft this is.

I just couldn't help it, I just had to have a photo of me with it...

Gosh a bit easy!
Okay the first is a Mig-29.
Second Su-25
Third An-12
Fourth Il-76

There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

MiG-29, Su-25, An-12, IL-76... in that order.

Err, curse you Mark! Ha, but I got the Candid, and you didn't.

I was thinking "Mig-29" as soon I saw the first picture!

And the second could I also see as a Su-25..
But the two next I wasn't so sure about..

I thought the first was a Mig-29, but wasn't completely sure.

Glad you aren't a fighter pilot Andrew! ;) ;D Or manning an AA battery! ;) Did they not teach you aircraft recognition?

Keep safe. :)

Army engineers usually have their heads down, in a hole somewhere... and I'd imagine enemy aircraft  aren't much of an issue for our troops in Iraq at this point, unless Syria or Iran decides to get stupid(er)...  ;D

Glad to see you have time for a little spottting, Andrew... and thanks for the dispatches. ;D

We worry more about vehicle recognition than aircraft. You probably won't believe me, but the British who drive vehicles around here are nuts ;D

The faster you drive, the harder it is to shoot you I suppose. Our infantry kit is generally inferior to yours!
