Hi all!
This is one of my cats
Her name is Jerry and she's almost 16 years old. I've known here since she was only a few weeks old.. She's been around for a long time of my 21 years of living..
Unfortunately yesterday she was diagnosed with cancer.. she has an aggresive tumor which is inoperable.
And even though she's not in pain right now and still is with us. I don't know how long she'll be here.
Took these quick shots tonight.. Hope you don't mind me sharing these photo's and the story

Thanks
Soui

Very sad, and surprising, because she looks terrific for a cat that age.
You should look into homeopathic treatment if you haven't decided to put her down already; there are remarkable results possible, although with an aggressive malignancy the odds are reduced.
Conventional chemo often works, but it is excrutiaitng and usually more expensive than homeopathic medicine.

A fine cat. Shame about the illness. Don't let her suffer. When she begins to appear to be in pain have her put down. At 16 she's led a good long life for a cat.

Cute cat, sad news about the cancer. My last cat before Shadow was diagnosed with cancer while we were on vacation once and after a surgery was unsuccesful in removing the tumor she had to be put to sleep

Thanks for the Kind words all!
As long as she can live happily and without pain she'll live
The Vet said that medication of all kinds was useless..
If she starts to get pain.. We will put her to rest. Even though that's going to be a very tough thing to do..
Once more Thanks!

Awwww.. she's precious.. and looks like she's had a wonderful life..
I had to put a dear friend down two years ago.. Alley.. a little stray I'd had since she was a kitten. She had liver cancer.. It was tough, but she never suffered..
Thanks for sharing..

Sorry to hear that Soui. My last cat passed away about 6 years ago with a year long battle to a throat tumor. It was very sad, especially the last few months. I know what you're going through.
