Oh me, oh Mi

Postby krigl » Sat Oct 07, 2006 3:27 pm

Having seen some Whirlwind/Wessex pictures hovering around, I thought I'd post some of these two fine examples of the elegant Mil-Mi 4, caught wafting like strands of gossamer at the Vyskov air scrap metal yard museum.

Some would say it's almost a copy of the Choctaw, but recently released GRU records confirm that they got the Whirlwind plans from the body of double oh six after gunning him down at the end of a frantic ski chase with skidoos and machine guns. He died trying to get them back from the diabolical thieving Russkies  :'(

Fortunately, that's not our car  ;D

I'm not sure if it's part of the 'display' or if an employee parked it there - nice old Russian vehicle...
