After the terrible weather last week it was a glorious day at Popham yesterday for the final fly-in of the season.

The paranoid owners of my local Shobdon airfield would be feverishly checking their Insurance Liability if visitors here were allowed to approach so close to flailing propellers...!!

Strong steel fences separate us from the aircraft display...positioned far away......!

Long gone are the days of a leisurely wander amongst the static aircraft, and a pleasant chat to their owners... ...!
