End of season fly-in

Postby Hagar » Mon Oct 09, 2006 7:34 am

After the terrible weather last week it was a glorious day at Popham yesterday for the final fly-in of the season.

Faster shuttertime for that first one next time, Doug...  8)  ;D  ;D

But blimey, that AN-2 and Staggerwing look so sharp! Fantastic shots that really show how good you have become! I can't wait until next season!

Lucky you, Doug...!
...and well done to the good folks at Popham...!

The paranoid owners of my local Shobdon airfield would be feverishly checking their Insurance Liability if visitors here were allowed to approach so close to flailing propellers...!!

Strong steel fences separate us from the aircraft display...positioned far away...:'(...!

Long gone are the days of a leisurely wander amongst the static aircraft, and a pleasant chat to their owners... :'(...!

Paul....Lovely photo's, Doug... ;D...!
