A helicopter with a radial engine...sends a shiver down my spine just to think about it.

Thankfully by the HAR.9 and HAR.10, they'd put a Gnome (a Bristol Siddeley rather then a garden one! ;D) turboshaft in the front. :)

This is a Westland Whirlwind thought..

Did deep strip on Gnomes once, 20000 scalpel blades turning in very closed formation.

Eeek! Sounds dangerous - I now see the logic in sticking it as far away from any of the inhabitants of the helo as possible! ;D
