Today I had the day off school, so I helped my mother and a few other employes clean out their office to move to a new facility. She works for a company called Teradyne, which manufactures testing equipment for semiconductors. A few of their projects have been Samgsung HDTVs, Apple's iPod, and even the B-1B Lancer.
Anyway they are moving to a georgeous office in the Boston suburbs, and they wanted me to help move. My job soon moved from mover boy to IT guy when I started going through a random locked file cabinet in the back of a closet. I was handed a set of keys and told "open her up, and find out whats inside." I did just that and I will let the pics speak for themselves.

Thats right boys 6, count em 6 Dell Inspiron D600 laptops and one Sanyo projector were found inside. Along with about 300 assorted unopened Cat5 and Cat6 cables, extra batteries, extirnal floppy drives, extra laptop batteries, extra chargers, docking stations, keyboards, mice. Basically I hit the jackpot. I told my mums boss, and he did a quick check to find out what was going on whit them. Turns out they belonged to emplyoes that left the company, and the laptops were forgoten about. So I then spent the rest of my day installing various software, cleaning them up, reformatting two, things like that.
All in all I would say it was a good day, cus I got paid $100 for helping out, and got a good helping to about 3 7' Cat5 cables, and 4 14' ones.
Cheers
Cameron
