ORA 9-30-06 part 3

And of course, Stan "The Man" Segalla, age 81 or thereabouts, is on hand for the evergreen "Flying Farmer" routine, in his nice little stock J3 Cub. He didn't get as close to the trees on that first takeoff as he usually does- must've been the utter lack of wind.

He disappears over the treeline, and returns trailing "Mrs. Murphy's clothesline"... notice here he's got it trimmed hands-off and is busy messing with the line... I'll bet at this point Stan could nap through most of his act. ;D      Image




I know you think you see Stan looping the Cub, but that's not possible- everybody knows you can't loop a Cub. ;)

A closer look at the Tiger... never noticed before that it's still got the old speaking-tubes installed. ;D

Soon she's off to bed, in hopes of fair weather for the Sunday show.

But the New Standard is still on the job, as strange clouds drop occasional flurries of mist.
