A relaxing stroll along the sea...
Posted: Fri Sep 22, 2006 1:56 pmI went down to the Belgian coast yesterday... the weather was so nice, my girl and me decided to do the 40 min. drive after work...
Belgian members may recognise the beach of Knokke and the harbour of Zeebrugge...
It's such a wonderfull place... the smell of the sea, the sand beneath your feet and the slow ships gliding towards the horizon...
Some people will dislike the artificial look of the harbour-mouth, but I like it. The passing ships make you dream of long voyages into exotic regions...
One of the wave-breakers, that are scattered all over the beach. Designed to hold the sand on the beach...
The sun kisses another day goodbye...
The lights of the harbour are magical once the sun has setted, but without a tripod no decent shots...
