A day at Silverstone with F1 in town
Posted: Wed Sep 20, 2006 9:08 amOr to be fair a morning, with me having a bad back I couldn't stay all day. But this was a great day, with free access to the stadium complex you get much closer to the action than a race weekend. i'll post more of hopefully higher quality this is just a preview. Things to look forward to, Lewis Hamilton and Nelson Piquets debut to the testing world, or their second days. And Ralf Schumacher and Piquets engines going boom.
Narain Karthekyan giving the Williams new toyota engine a second days running, rather unsucessfully as it spent most of the morning in the garage after blowing up after only 2 laps.

Spyker F1, They also had the traditional midland car there, but it only did 2 laps and then didn't come out again while I was there.
