D-Day tour (Part 2)

A stop at the World War II Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial, overlooking Omaha beach.

The cemetery contains the graves of 9,387 American military Dead, most of whom gave their lives during the landings and ensuing operations of World War II.

Shame about the weather. You've just reminded me of a shot I took at Collville sur Mer. I would post it here but it would take the thread over 500K, so I'll pop it in another thread. :)

Nice sets steeped in history.

In the third picture you just need to reverse the arrows, and hey presto - a great Operation Sealion Victory Map. Lucky it didn't come to that...
