Ah yes..........the off shore water pumps......... ::)

I've heard that they need to have these to help out the sponges which are having a hard time controlling water levels in the worlds oceans.......after all, just imagine if the sponges weren't down there to soak some up, how deep would the water be ?.............

I'm not sure people do. I think what they object to mostly is having their entire horizon dominated by them.

Indeed & if I understand it correctly the whole horizon would need dominating by them for them to be any use at all.

Thats true. On two occasions I saw the windfarm consuming power instead of creating it. After all, when there's not enough wind to turn them at night they still need to light the navigational lights that mark the farm out. :P

Great pic, I find wind turbines very nice to look at. They can dominate my horizon any day.... better than what I can see from my flat, on a clear day: columns of smoke rising from the cooling towers of the nuclear power station which lies about 40 km away.
