Here some photos from my recent trip to Boston and New York-Here at the USS Intrepid Air, Sea and Space Museum ;)

Part of the Flightdeck, on the left side you can see a Sea King, 2 Hueycobras, a AV-8A and the SR-71, On the Right hans side, F-14 way in the back, then the A-6, an F-4 and so forth

Don't forget, guys: the museum will be closed for renovations starting October 1st; they plan to re-open next May...


Nice shots, 2992- it's hard to shoot there when people are milling about...
I see they no longer have the airstair set up next to the Blackbird so you can look inside... too bad.
Believe it or not, that one is a 2-seater- not a trainer, I think, but for carrying "special" passengers (couriers, spies, etc. )... no windows at all back there; must be a very strange ride.

That's not an SR-71. It's an A-12 used by the CIA. ;)

Right side from the Island forward, looks to me to be a Fury, Tiger, Demon, Phantom and then before the Tomcat, there is something with wings stowed,... ? possibly the Intruder ?

It would be a dissapointment, at high winds to see that Concorde stray of that barge. ::) (note the rudder deflection....)Nice photo's! ;D

Very, very carefully... but the barge was probably being towed at about 100 knots by a large hyrdrofoil.
