I went to the Mid America Air Museum yesterday (saturday) down in Liberal Kansas, pretty cool stuff... biggest attractions in my personal taste are the B-25J "Iron Laiden Maiden" and a TBM Avenger... some other cool things are a T-38, F-104, F-14, a Breezey, and a Beechcraft Starship. its a neat place if you're ever in that area, I will have picture tomorrow. (Mods - if you don't believe this forwarning is neccesary until i get the pictures, then I'm ok if you delete it)

How dare you tease me with that title, then not provide photos...?!?!   >:(

Pistols at dawn, sir... unless of course you come up with the pix before then.

;D

Seriously, the only problem with the "pix coming soon" idea is that those posts can quickly get buried if lots of people are posting, and by the time you post your pics, most have forgotten about the heads-up, but they see your pics anyway.

But it is annoying to be teased like that... ;)

I know, I know... but I am a little disappointed; I just finished cleaning my dueling pistols.  ;) ;D

Cool shots, but I see you had the universal problem found shooting inside hangars: it looks like it will turn out  OK,but then... ugh. I hate that.
Are these shot on film (not a bad thing; just curious)?

Love that Breezy; I saw a very nice one at the Golden Age museum in Pa.  recently.

And I like the crazy nose art on that B-25... would there be a full-view shot in the works? ;D

BTW, very clever inserting the pix into the original post... solves the problem I mentioned earlier.

Eh, actually, its a mix between Digital and Film... i just numbered them weird lol, Tom A. Thomas... they guy that donated like 65 of the aircraft there, died a while back... and you can say he... "haunts the place" so... he doesn't let you take pictures of certain aicraft that aren't his... well... unexpedely both sets of my batteries died so i went and bought 2 disposable cameras from the gift shop... and still ended up not getting a turn out on that aircraft  ;D. but the numbering was way weird for Walgreens so i just through random numbers on the film pictures as i was resizing them since i was going to upload all 120 some odd pictures  ;D The Corsair is film and so is the Breezy but the rest in this set are digital.

Eesh; hard enough to shoot in a dark hangar without some ghost messing things up... find out what kind of beer old Tom liked, and leave one for him in a corner somewhere. Maybe then he'll leave you alone. ;)
