Ok, no narrative but take a look at the size of the other stuff in the pics, relative to these two beauties...........

Wish I'd been there to see it myself!  That thing has twice the wingspan of a Lancaster, it's beautiful.  I've been flying the Alphasim version this afternoon ;D

That's a unique sight. Long may they continue to give service.

How nice that you found her napping. What a mega-beauty!! :-*

Almost makes up for never missing out on the golden age of flying boats... many thanks. Gotta get up there sometime for a better look. ;)
The 180 looks great alongside it... I'd rather see a flock of floatplanes than sailboats any day. ;D

Beautiful shots of the Mars!! :)

That is a huge aircraft.  I saw a special about a year ago on the Discovery Channel about the Martin and it was very interesting.

I really like that last shot also!! :)

Lol, when did you see them land? I was at the boat lunch at the Park when one came from the left of the Tanker base and landed head on to me. A few minutes later the other one came the opposite direction and landed along side the far side of the lake. It was a heck of a site to see.
