Things have been a little crazy around here lately and I havent had the time to continue my series from my trip to Taiwan a couple weeks ago. So, was going to post these a week or so ago but here they are...Finally
I arrived August 1st and left on the 18th. On the 14th we took a trip around the island...something ill never forget...pictures just cant do justice to the true beauty of this little island
But first are 4 from various places we went during the first 2 weeks. Unfortunatly the closest I got to Taipei 101 was an MRT that went near it...Couldnt get any shots though
But that thing is MASSIVE 
First place we went to was a museum in Taipei. It is in 2 large buildings and this pic is of the second...didnt get to take a tour of it because I was sick that day. It was off to the left of the main.
You will see these types of statues around various places...mainly temples or in this case outside the museum. Definatly different...
Later on a large group of us went to the city of Danshui which is to the northern part of the island. Pretty great views across the river. Was there to take on the massive night market. So crowded that night it was insane...then we left Danshui for another market in a differnt city. Not sure which one. Can you spot the A330 in this pic...
This was taken from the MRT station at the Taipei zoo, the last stop on the Mucha line. One of her friends is obsessed and has to go there 2 times a year
And finally...the trip to the other side...such a curvy road going through the mountains...nearly makes you sick.
This was taken not long after we started down the eastern side. Never seen the Pacific so blue, nice breeze, sun, so peacefull...unfortunatly I only got to enjoy this spot for 1/2 hour before we headed farther into the mountains. I could have stayed there all day
