I'm not sure from what I'm seeing here, but did you use the flash ?....if you do, it'll become your shutterspeed and you'll get much crisper shots........just don't forget to set the focus for the distance you're using and do it manually, not auto-focus...

Nice shots...water drops always make for some interesting photo ops
rain is pretty cool, so i decided to try out capturing droplets onto a plate as suggested
