Spotting at EGCC #1
just got back from my grandma and Granddad who live in Manchester, and pent a few hours at EGCC, We were there between 1:30 and 3:30, so for the first one and a half hours all activity took place on Runway 24R (the one closest to the spotting area
), and for the last half hour all flights departed from 24L.....the one really far away
Most activity were holiday flights run by Monarch, Thomas Cook, Thompson, My Travel and First Choice, predominantly operating 757s.
We did get a few Gems such as a Virgin Atlantic 744 and an AlItalia ERJ-170
So in no particular order
Star Alliance MD81
Piper PA-28 of Manchester school of flying

The first (of many) MyTravel jets
The gorgeous AlItalia ERJ-170....Look at that nose!!
BA 734
Excel Airways 737 throwing up some spray
Typical...as soon as the other runway opens everybody decides to leave
A BA Dash 8 taxies to it's stand
.Mic
