Dartmouth Regatta Pics

Postby xFLAMESx » Sat Aug 26, 2006 4:08 pm

Hi guys, it's been a while since I've been to a display of any kind, so I jumped at the opportunity to see today's display at the Regatta.

The programme for the evening was:
Chinook: 17:00
Eurofighter Typhoon: 17:15
Red Arrows: 17:30

Just before I post these couple of pics...
Anyone heard how freakin' loud the Typhoon is?! :o
My ears almost exploded! ;D

Just 1 pic of each for now, will post more when I get the chance to upload them to the PC

Typhoon turning away (best shot I could get of it, it's so flippin' fast!!! :o)

Image
Diamond 9...guesses anyone? :P

Pictures taken on my Motorola A1000 phone, forgot my cam. D'OH! :-/

Also have some vids which I may upload to a hosting site soon.

Cheers,
Carl

Not bad pics considering.

PS. This might interest you. Taken at Biggin Hill earlier this year. I found it when I was looking through some of my old photos. http://www.simviation.com/yabbuploads/da-IMG_7395bh.jpg

Not surprising when it does most of its display on full afterburner. ::)

Nice shots Carl - would've been there myself if my brother had actually mentioned he was on his way there - as he walked out the door! Idiot that he is!!

I was a bit peeved about that.

Cheers,

TSC.

Cheers for the comments guys, I actually think I got better results with the phone than I would've with the cam, especially with the Typhoon...I was better off filming it! LOL!

Yeah, I did notice it had burners on for most of the show, scared the life outta the missus when it first came over! ;D

LOL TSC, it was absolutely heaving :o
You did miss out on a good show tho 8)

Cheers guys,
Carl
