Well done...how about that F4?!

First time I'd ever seen one fly; that was very cool.

Not having a radio to hear the narration, I didn't learn anything about many of these planes, but you seem to know a little... where is that Phantom based, and what's the story behind it?

Can anyone else note the difference between the Mustang and the other aircraft? Shows the difference in their designed cruise speed as well. Great shots!

I think you're talking about angle of attack... the jets were "mushing" a bit to stay slow enough to keep in formation with the P51, which was not doing much more than 200 kts at any point... must be very tricky in the "clean" configuration!

That Phantom is probably from Tyndall AFB in Florida.  Basically the story behind that, is the Air Force was using them as target drones out of the bone yard at Davis Monthan AFB.  They decided that they would save 2 of them for this exact purpose (Heritage Flights).  Now, there is one at Tyndall AFB and one at Holloman AFB (New Mexico).  Now there is another F-4 out there that is privately owned by the Collings Foundation in Houston, which I saw at Oshkosh one year, and it was a beautiful restoration job!!
