Before i go ahead and post the shots of the dakota thought i'd post these shots and see if anyone can recognise what type of aircraf this is:

and the Engine I.D Plate, which is the original one that came with the engine and the aircraft...

Hmmm... the bracing wires seen in #2 indicate a biplane... Oil tank is on the left... yep, I think it's a Stearman... or maybe a Waco.

yep Doug and Rotty are correct it is a Boeing A75N1 (Modified) stearman,

here's another one of her undergoing her Annual Maintanence Inspection
