Hi,
Can someone tell me what planes these are (in the red box).

I took this at RNAS Culdrose Airday. There is a much better quality image (ill post a link soon).

BAe Harrier T4s - most of the RAF T4s went to the RN when they retired as spares sources for the Navy T8s... :)

Charlie's right, but there are two there, Alrot ;).

The T4 was basically a twin seat version of the GR3.

Speaking of which, a Gazelle just flew over my house! An instantly recognisable sound.

Though I'd rather it be a Harrier T4! ;D

Never seen the Harriers fly from Culdrose. Don't ever recall seeing a Gazelle either. I just get the SeaKings and Merlins.

Well presumably, the Gazelle was there for the Air Day, and the Harriers are there in storage perhaps. Maybe ground instructional airframes?

Read my previous post and you'll know why the RN ahve them, although I suspect Tweek is right in saying they are now ground instructional airframes. Having said that, Boscombe still operate a T4 (of sorts) and a T8, both of which will be consuming spares for another few years or so... ;) ;D
