I walked out the door to grab a bite last night just before 8pm......I was greeted by a strange sight......looking to the southwest, I knew I had to go back in and grab the camera.

I saw this formation of cloud, which must have been forced up over the Island mountains by some weather blowing in from the Pacific........very strange indeed.

That really is unique. The sky is one of the most amazing sights to behold. Different everyday and every picture is the only one of its kind. 8)

Looks like a weather front hitting the mountains causing the clouds to formate. Good picture.

Thanks for the kind comments friends, this was indeed a weather change on the way in........today, and all day, its been heavy overcast and periods of drizzle........ ::)

Nice catch!! Awesome shot!

It's just the Mothership reversing it's engines and sucking the clouds up into it!!
