I went up to Oshkosh yesterday (Sunday) and took a few pics that I thought I would share, enjoy...

A storm that passed over Oshkosh early in the morning, and passed over us just as we were leaving...
Image

The first thing we saw when we got there, the Cirrus booth.  This is a Cirrus SR-22 Turbo, with an Avidyne glass cockpit, and boy is it sure nice, you could even see the storms that passed over early in the morning...
Image

A new VLJ, the ATG Javelin, a personal fighter jet, without all the fighter, one of my favorites of the show...
Image

Another view of the Javelin...
Image

The T-37 Tweet, the Air Force's old but neat primary jet trainer...
Image

The absolutely massive C-17 Globemaster.  It was difficult to see how huge this thing was, so I took a picture of a guy standing under the flaps...
Image

The T-6 Texan II, the Air Force's other primary trainer...

More to come, thanks for looking... ;)

Yippeee... Airventure pics... ;D
Funky weather, eh? In '03, there was a squall so bad one afternoon when I was resting in my tent that I had to brace the top of it from inside with both hands to keep the wind from flattening it completely... :P

That pic of the C17 is excellent; i like to take pictures of people looking at airplanes.
Did you get to see the Javelin in the air? I once saw a display by a BD10, which was sort of the precursor of this type... a jet like this is in my Top Five list of Things I'd Buy if I Won the Lottery. ;D

Me too, I think it would be on my top 1 list. ;D

Unfortunately though, it was only a mock-up, with a cardboard cockpit, but hopefully soon. ;)
