EBBR 31/07 - part I - The blues...
Posted: Mon Jul 31, 2006 12:57 pmMy last free day before I start a new job tomorrow... the misses had to work... So I went off to do some spotting at Brussels Zaventem... It was a bit of a gamble, the weather wasn't perfect, but I could see some nice blue spots when still at home.
When I arrived at my normal spottingground ( runway 25L), i was all alone! Strange... not another spotter in sight for miles! And where did the aircraft go? Gone! There were none! Very strange!
Until I saw the steady stream of approaching planes ar 25R, a couple of miles more west... seems 25L was under maintenance... D'oh! Hopped in the car to search a new spot.
I tried several, but I wasn't a happy boy! These are the results...
Ugh... barely recognisable A320 - Air Lingus
Oh dear, interesting effect, but oooh so gray...
Not much better!
Blimey... British Airways allright, but plain awfull circumstances!
At least I was close to the tower! Hi guys!
I was about to call it a day after 45 minutes. So I started driving around the airport again...
