Sometimes when things don't go as planned, there are "ripple effects" which may affect others who are not directly related to the original actual occurance..........

As you can see from this short final shot, it's a good thing that the plane stopped on the pathway, as there is a marina immediately on the other side of it..........lucky too, that there wasn't anyone walking in that very area when the fence was breached.

The aircraft had landed on RWY 31 and touched down very long.

There was no restriction of runway use, but the recommendation was to approach RWY 13 a little high. The fence was repaired within two days.
From what I understand, the cadet didn't wash-out over the incident either.
