SC Trip 3 = Ft. Sumter Part 1
Here is the first batch from Ft Sumter, site of the start of the Civil War. I am WAY too tired to go into all the history, so google it.
Welcome!!

Cannon facing outward at the entrance

A memorial thingy from the Civil War

Looking out from on top of the newer battery in the middle, you can see the longest suspension bridge in the United States in the distance

A row of cannons (there are the ones in the foreground and there are cannons in all the cannon spots inside the building). This whole part was buried underneath a bunch of sand for many years and when it was excavated they found a whole row of cannons in good condition

Flags, each had a description under it

Next...Ft Sumter Pt 2
