If a image copyrighted does this mean it can not be published anywhere else on the net or can not be use to make money.

Given the appropriate credit (i.e. asking permission/leaving a copyright mark on the image), I see no problem in posting elsewhere on the net - a forum, perhaps, so long as you don't claim it as your own.
As for making money, that would certainly be forbidden, unless permission has been given by the person owning the copyrights to the image.
Heres a little snippet from Airliners:
"How do I know if I own the copyrights to my photos?
If you have photographed them, you own the copyrights. There are no forms to fill in or anything like that. All images photographed by you are copyright protected and owned by you."

That might be so but preventing someone using them illegally might be a tad difficult. Like freeware files of any description, once something is posted on the web it's open to misuse. If you can't accept that don't post anything anywhere in the Internet

Exactly, so you just have to be careful with where and how you distribute any of your own photos.
