I just got back from my summer vacation yesterday.
I see a lot of things has happened; A new forum section and new mod!
But with Clipper being the mod, and the new section having something to do with screenshots, I don't think this place have gotten/will get less crazy..
Anyway to the point-
I have a lot of photos to post from my vacation, I'll post them over a couple of days so the page won't get too filled with them.
The first photos here are from Gibraltar.
Gibraltar was great, really.
The day started off by us driving from La Durchesa to Gibraltar, which was 25 min. drive, but became a 45 min. one.
And I think you all know why.. The Spains aren't really that excited about Gibraltar being british and all, so they've decided not to put a single "Gibraltar thay way--- 15 miles", get over it Spain.. When we got there, there was a 50 minute queue to get in to Gibraltar, but that was ok - I went planespotting, which is really neat in Gibraltar, cause the runway is right next to a beach, a bit like TNCM, except you aren't allowed exactly in front of the runway, but very close though, and you can swin out in front of it, should you wish .. Didn't get any photos of though..
I saw a British Airways A320 landing, very cool, and even cooler, when we were just on the border line between Spain and Gibraltar, then road closed (the road crosses the runway), and a yellow A320, sorry I don't know the airline, took off, waaaaay cool!
Then we got into Gibraltar, got the tour, saw the monkeys, caves, tunnels and all that.
We finished off by eating, downtown.
All in all, a superb experience.
