BBMF in a different light....

Hi all,
I recently got me another Airfix model, that kept me occupied for a while :D

Anyway, the model was of the BBMF, and for my (lack of?) talent when it comes to airfix models, I thought I did rather good :)

Just a few things - the quality on these pics is awful, not sure why though (must be my bad photography skills!) Also, I messed up hugely when it came to putting the transfers nto the aircraft....kinda displeasing ::)

Image
All three aircraft.

Image
Close up on the Lanc's nose - this was definately the worst pic :o

Image
The rear end of the Lanc.

The bombbay - complete with 6 little bombs and one big round thing :D
(This one is a link to the pic so I can keep this thread under 500KB ;))

Image
The Spit - it doesn't have "P7350" on it's side because I ruined both of those transfers while attempting to put them onto the fuselage.

Image
The Hurricane - this onse probably came out the best, the paint was OK, the model was good and the transfers were alright.

Enjoy! Sorry once again for the quality, but it is 7:30AM here :D

I was going to start that kit this summer (all 3) Either the BBMF or a DC3

I might buy them and then we can have a little "who can build the best AIRFIX competiton"

I hate it when the transfers mess up, like on my Tornado Gr.4 I used one squadron's markings and another's registration 'cos I messed it up!

Nice work though! Keep it up.
