After recently ending a long stretch (the longest, by far, that I've ever remained at a job) as a night manager and now on an evening shift, I'm still rarely sleeping before the birds begin their morning chirps.

Last week when I was in Germany, there is no way in hell I would be awake when the sun came up. It rose at around 5:00am, and didn't set until something like 10:30 or 11:00pm.

The one with the tree is great, you were lucky with the cloudlessness...very nice warm shots.
