I was stuck in seat 31D, an isle seat, so I couldn't see jack out the window, but still more if I was in my assigned seat of 32F. I didnt realize we were about to land until I looked out the window and saw saw a very large and very brown Schukyll. (think I spelled that right) I'll post some pictures of the trip after I sort through all 450+ of them, so it might be awhile.
Does anyone know why Lufthansa skips the letter 'B' in all of their seating designations? In 3 aircraft (2 A340-300, and A300-600) the seats were AC DEFG HI, and in the narrowbody 737-300 it was AC DEF. On the PHL-FRA leg I was in 24E, not fun at all, on the FRA-BRE leg I was in 9F, so I had a window seat, then in the TXL-FRA leg I was in 28H, next to a really annoying kid who I was ready to kill, then I gladly switched from 32F to 31D with one of my freinds, moving from a interior seat to an isle seat with nobody in 31E. Coincidentaly, the same person that was in 24F on the PHL-FRA leg was the same person that was in 31C on the FRA-PHL leg.
I had 3 good flights, the TXL-FRA got a more than a little bumpy while we were in the pattern, and Lufthansa only broke one of the many breakable things I brought back.

Thanks!!

Yes, the temperature and humidity have been pretty high.
I always make sure I have a window seat on any flight I take!! I can't stand to sit anywhere else. If by chance I not near the window I'll offer my bag of peanuts to someone that is as a trade!!

Glad you had a great trip and start posting your pictures!!

Another thing that I forgot to add. We left a student in Frankfurt Intl. Our flight from Berlin was delayed, so lufthansa bussed us from terminal A (domestic) to terminal B (international), bumped us to the front of the line in security and border protection. When all but one of us had gotten through the border control, the last kid realized that he didn't have his passport, so he got left behind with just .02 Euro left, and none of us could get to him to give him anything, since we had already "left the country." Lufthansa then took us to our gate, moved us to the front of the line of people checking in, then onto the jetway, which didn't lead to our plane. We had to take the emergency exit and get on another bus, which had a another student group whose flight from Madrid had been delayed, that took us to where the plane was parked, engines running and ready to leave. Our teacher left us as soon as we got off the plane in Frankfurt, so he has no idea that we left someone behind, who was probably on the next Star Alliance flight back to Philly.

How ever did he get that far without a passport?

He had it when we checked in for both flights in Berlin, but lost it between then and when we went through the border control.
