Just a few summer-ish snaps...

First, Peg cooling off next to the elevator door (there's always a nice draft from the shaft).

Big boomer to the east, seen at sunset:

Still can't quite get a proper shot of the full moon with this camera, but here's the best one so far:

Wonderful :)
Really like those clouds, so fluffy but yet so dangerous for us GA fliers .

She's definitely slowing down a bit, and is a little flabby- I need to take her on more romps in the woods, but it's been too hot lately.
I've had to watch her weight carefully, and she hasn't gained a pound in years. I go by the old rule that you should be able to feel their ribs but not see them... ;D

I'll tell you, though- she surprises me sometimes. About a month ago she leaped into the back of the Tracker- hasn't done that in years!

Eh- not really. It's not like she does anything tiring, most of the time. Wave a piece of BBQ at her when she's in that state of heat-induced torpor, and she will suddenly become very animated... it's a common dog thing, and even more so for larger breeds- they act more like wild canines such as wolves, conserving their energy until the next hunt.
Sometimes I have to check to make sure she's breathing... ;D
