The floods of oh-six!
We've had some non-stop rain the last couple of days. The Delaware River, separating New Jersey and Pennsylvania crested about 2 hours before I hopped on my bike to go have a look. I really shouldn't have taken my bike, because I'm out of shape, and it's about a 700 foot difference between our house and the river.
Ah well, exercise is exercise.
Sound advice.

That'd be Pennsylvania.. underwater.. this is the third flood in a year and a half for those poor people..

Someones garden..

This is the bridge connecting New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Closed for now, obviously. Back in December (or January) we had some heavy snows, then it warmed up real quick. When the snow and ice melted, it actually washed away a house and the house got stuck here, under the bridge. I'm not sure what happened to it, but I'm sure by now it's floating somewhere in the Chesapeake Bay..

That's it for now.. I didn't have time to clean off my memory card, so I didn't take many other photos. I have a short, 15 second video I shot with my camera just to show how fast the water was moving, if anyone is interested.
