Not to sure about these... looked cool though

This one is an ATR-72 I guess, because of the overhang after the tail

Image

3 By-planes! Nice formation, awesome roar... Best guess? 1 Stearman and 2 Tiger Moths?

Image

This must be a 747-sp variant! No idea about the airline though...

If you can shed some light, please do.... ;D

For the 747SP
Top down limiting
- Iran Air doesnt have stripes anymore
- Iraqi Airways ones are unflyable
- Stripe too large for Syrianair old scheme (and all theirs are white body now)
- The Qatar Royal one is red
- Tail logo shape is wrong for UAE and Bahrain VIP machines
- Saudia doesnt have stripes (tail logo is somewhat matching)
- P4-FSH has a white tail
- N747 UT has a blue stripe but isnt allowed to fly outside the USA
Yemenia doesnt have stripes

Possible: Global Airgroup... but that one has been listed as 'stored'

top isn't an ATR, they are a bit beefier in the waist (fuselage). thats a Dash 8-400 im gona say, it doesn't look that long.

as for the 747-SP, the only airline that i knew used it for a small while was American. they bought 2, and that was short lived. just do a search for all 747-sp's on A.net

12X zoom ... 300+ mm equivalent of a 35 mm lens - Panasonic Lumix FZ5

It's indeed an ATR.
Rather easy to spot because of the extended tailcone (like Omag pointed out) and the rounded bumps in the mid fuselage, where the main landing gear is stored.
The Dash-8's have their landing gear hung on the engines.
Speaking of the engines, the DASH-8 engines are longer and extends from the trailing edge, whereas the ATR's do not  :)
