Spitfires and Hurricanes, Britain's finest.

LF MkIXe MK356 having an engine run up outside the BBMF hanger at RAF Coningsby.

PR XIX PM631

LF MkXVIe TE311. This aircraft was meant to be used for spares recovery but is now to be restored to flight. It has assumed the identity of TB675 4D-V of 74 squadron.

Hawker Hurricane MkIIc LF363 looking splendid in it's new 17 squadron colours.

Hurricane IIc PZ865

There were a lot of these noisy pointy things about today also, but with all those beautiful Spitfires around is anybody even remotely interestd in them?

Bueatiful, sure is different seeing those spit's without their cowling. Think I like the "PR XIX PS915" model the most with the 5 bladed prop. Nice shot's ;D
