Um... did I mention my pics are way out of order here?  Oh well, you can figure it out I guess!! haha

After watching it startup and taxi out a few times I decided to head down to the end of the runway where there is a small park and shot these landing pictures.

As you can tell, it was quite rainy!! lol

Great shots of the B-17! 8)

The same B-17 is going to be in Spokane, Wa this next weekend. I'm already renting a Cessna 172 and flying down to Cour D' Alene, Id on Saturday afternoon, and i'm thinking about hopping over the border to Spokane to see it. It will be the first time I've flown since my checkride, and it's been a while since i've flown into Class C airspace, so i'm not sure if I should because I still suck at radio communications :-[

LOL keep my camera dry?  Cough... what?  Huh??  I took my chances... it wasn't raining that hard and was only exposed to it for a few seconds.

Esselbach... just get flight following and they'll walk you right through it no problem.  Makes the transition from uncontrolled to controlled much easier.

I was never one for radio comm as well... but using FF every time really made them not seem so scarry. lol

Those shots would be ALOT better if the F2F wasn't plastered across the WHOLE picture.

But under the bull, there appears to be a great shot of a great plane.
