Posted: Mon May 29, 2006 11:45 amI hope nobody minds my steady barrage here; at least they're in small bundles. I have 11 good images from the parade, so it'll be in two parts...
This display was early in the day, with the sun and haze conspiring to make any would-be photgrapher pull his hair out in frustration. But what a spectacle! Hope these modest pics give a fair impression. I had to play with contrast ans saturation a bit on some of these...
Most of these birds are based at the American Air Power Museum at Republic, I believe... there is a C47 there, but she did not show up, unfortunately.
But here's a nice Corsair:

A rare(?) non-turbo S-58, being horsed around a little:
And the gorgeous B17 Yankee Lady, visiting from the Yankee Air Museum... a quick bombing run to clear the surf of errant bathers...
