There are days you think, wouldn't it be neat if i catched something a little different... today was such a day. I almost went in to upload my shots, when I heared a faint humm in the distance... So I decided to wait for the plane, thinking it would just be another piper... how wrong I was...

I think that's a Spitfire... a TR9 I believe! ;D G-CCCA if my eyes don't deceive me...

And behold... she was not alone! This looks like Griffon? the MK XVIe or MK XVIIIe from Duxford?

Nice spits there :D i was at a small airshow today and i have seen some nice planes like P-51, Spitfire and B-25.
Best was the PC-7 and the F-16 solo demos from the Dutch airforce and the formations of 5 F-16s were nice too.

That could explain why they flew by. I think they went home after that airshow in Holland.

Good for you Kris, .....when its a long range shot and not much to work with, digging out the image from a relative tiny "dot" can sometimes still bring home something to ID..........well done !  ;D

The first one looks like an Irish T9 to me... probably the one in Ozzy's signature!

Nice Kris. Okay the first one is IAC-161! My signature picture.
The second one is the FR18E SM845. The little checker-board on the tail giving it away ;)
