What a strange and wonderful set of photos... sort of a "Flying 3 Musketeers" vibe to them... that dH Vampire is nice!! Can't remember the mfr and model of that chopper, but it was a pretty successful and widely-used type, if I remember correctly.

Did all of these aircraft serve with the Venezuelan military, or...?

I like how your dad and your brother are each looking away in their pictures.. is your father wearing a leather flying helmet in that pic? And what is your brother holding?

Good thing you finally scanned those old prints; they're pretty faded already. A little tweaking with GIMP or PS could have them looking almost new; maybe later I'll try that with these images, if you'd like to see that.

I wasn't making fun of you, or the Venezuelan Air Force... you're so sensitive!!  ;)  ;D

I was asking about the history of those fine aircraft: notice I said "did they serve"; past-tense, you see. I am fairly ignorant of the history of Central and South America; trying to improve my knowledge.

As for your Carnival costume: you look very sharp, and I think the "time warp" effect of your Renaissance costume and the 1940s airplanes, in photos taken in the 1960s(?) is very cool!! :)

But I reserve the right to make fun of ALF... I just never liked that show. Nothing against puppets; I liked The Muppet Show, having been raised on Sesame Street.

And "Mr. Floppy" from Unhappily Ever After could kick ALF's ass any day!

:D

Rottydaddy here the sensitive is you  ;D....hey come on dude I consider you my friend you can make fun of me we respect of course,BTW if you don't make fun of our super dupe hipe military ultra COWARDS forces I will do it my self  ;D seriouly, do you think I care anything about those traitors?,unfortualy I can't talk about politics here....the chief is planing to sell our f-16 because he hate US......I better  :-X  :-X  :-X,....

Read the news...any will provide you information about this Paradise(the political & Military situation) my friend

LOL- it's all good; I was only kidding...

Yes, I know a bit about the current goings-on down there (just talking current events, not politics ;) )... I'll say one thing for Chavez- he has huevos.
And of course we're still friends; maybe someday I'll get the opportunity to visit you... if they'll let me into the country. ;D
If you have more  photos that show glimpses of your life (past and present) in Venezuela, I'd like to see them, even if there are no aircraft shown. I've been thinking of posting a few choice snaps from my  own limited family album; some may find them interesting. I think we all should; that would be fun!
And especially if you're wearing a cute little costume... :D ;)
