Just a macro-try-out in my garden. Not entirely satisfied with the result... these bugs aren't an easy object...  :)

They look pretty good to me. I like the bee. I've not tried anything like this myself but it can't be that easy to get a good angle before they fly away.

Some of these buggers see better than expected... I took countless shots where they moved away and the camera focused on the bushes...  ;D

Omag has made a certain someone very happy! :D

I could be very wrong, but I believe #4 is a fly.

I was wondering that myself. #3 looks like one of them bluebottles. That's my idea of a fly.

Hope you don't mind Kris, but here's one of mine, took at EGBG of all places!

I think for this one, I either used Macro and zoomed in, or used Super Macro... I have a feeling it was Super Macro.

Happy happy joy joy!  Awesome shot Tweek! ;D :-*

Pity, all we get in Houston are mosquitoes.  I'd trade the skeeters (no dirty jokes y'all :P) for those flies anyday.  At least they're shiny! :D
