Hey guys,

This is my first post in the photos section  :)  So im trying to make it extra good  ;)

These shots were from a long weekend gliding in the South of France with friends.  i only managed to get a few... so here they are:

Just after having releached the cord, searching for the thermal we thought we had!


After 20 minutes or so, only having found one small thermal, we weer heading back to the airport.

Thanks.. i was just pretty dissapointed with this flight.. very short, like 25 minutes max.  If we stayed up for longer i would've actually had the chance to make some more shots, but unfortunatelly i was too busy flying most of the time i had left  ::)

Lovely pics, pretty nippy little bugars arnt they!! Nearly 120knots I take it you approach fast to buy time if something goes bad?

No .. not knots, its in km/h  :)  Its a difference, but we had just tucked in the airbrakes a little, cos we descending a bit too fast, and these things pick up speed real easy!  ;D

Note that we on the second shot we were just about 3 feet or so above the ground (air brakes tucked in fully by now) and it wasn't until the last shot we just touched down!  These things are GOOD at gliding  ;)  You can just about make out the runway in the distance in shot #5.  it's good cos it saves us pushing it all the way  :D
